Hurricane Fabian |
Well this picture is from Hurricane Fabian back in '03 with my first digital camera. I had somehow deleted a bunch of pics
on Sam and Noah's camera and to make it up I stood on the beach for an hour while it just cranked outside. Looking back on
this shot I don't think any of us realized how good it was out there; today we'd be getting barreled out of our minds when
back then we couldn't do shat.

|
Dylan Stone |
This is actually a really bad pic so I put it in black and white but it's hard to shoot this place anyway. Dylan Stone was
just killing it; on that same wave he got a good 2-3 second coverup before busting out this turn. Had to include this pic.

|
Brevin Rock |
I pretty much ruined this shot; if it had been clear it would've been sick. Still perfect lighting and good timing plus a
nice backside spray from Brevin.

|
Rodney Moore |
Rodney pulled off a super long floater on this shorebreak day at BIP. I had forever to take this shot.

|
Worth Farrington |
Again, not that great a shot but Worth had been trying these all day and I finally got the timing down on one of em.

|
Justin Schub |
This was a sick day last April at Bogue Pier with all the boys out. I was standing on the pier and with the zoom on my lens
I could get so close in that in some cases you can't even see all of the wave. All the pics from this day are sorta focused
on the individual and not so much on the surroundings because they are in so close. Justin Schub needs no introduction.

|
Tyler Lewis |
Tyler Lewis. This pic is a little out of focus but the blur pretty much sums up that day. There were so many good waves that
by the end of it we all were in a blur.

|
Fisher Heverly |
I wonder if this pic is still on the computer at 58. One of the few barrels that I saw while shooting. Fisher always seems
to come out of nowhere and grab a sick barrel.

|
Justin Schub |
Justin again. I wish I could do that.

|
Hunter Heverly |
Course you can't have Fisher without having Hunter too. This shot is in so close that all you see is the lip of the wave and
Hunter setting up a big cutback. Cool contrast of colors.

|
Justin Schub |
Another one of Justin. I'm zoomed in so close it's kinda hard to tell what's going on with Justin taking apart the lip like
that, but the different colors in the lip of the wave are cool.

|
Sam Simpson |
Sam on a small shorebreak day right near the end of school. I had sprained the crap out of my ankle so I was stuck high and
dry but the lighting was awesome this day. Didn't even need to edit this photo.

|
Hunter Heverly |
Hunter on a small shorebreak day at BIP. The groms had all shaved their heads this day and then went surfing, so when it came
to shooting I thought a bunch of Marines who ripped had suddenly shown up. This pic's been on the front page for a while.

|
Fisher Heverly |
Nothing special about this pic, except with the goggles Fisher looks like a complete tool.

|
Dan Chase |
Dan Chase getting towed behind Dan Williams' boat on the skimboard. Ghetto wakeskating basically. Really sick lighting
for this shot.

|
Sam Simpson |
Sam on the wakeskate. Sam's one of those guys that picks up any sport in about 10 minutes; this was probably his first day
wakeskating. Can't wait to do some of that this summer.

|
Rhode Island |
This is a rock reefbreak in a place I can't tell you up here in Rhode Island. Such a sick wave on the right swell, but
a real bitch to get to if it's throwing. Some of the locals tell me Damien and CJ Hobgood make frequent visits to this spot.

Whoo, a sunset. This is from last winter at BIP.
